Vegas Resident DJ Spotlight: Paul Oakenfold

Paul Oakenfold

Almost two years have past since Paul Oakenfold played his opening night DJ residency at Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and to this day his legendary star burns as bright as ever. Working on selected Saturday nights he puts on a stunning show which he calls: Perfecto Vegas.

Oakenfold’s celebrity status dates back to the late 80’s where he revolutionized the party scene with his own personal style. Known for remixing such artists as: Madonna, U2, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears. Oakenfolds’  Perfecto Vegas sets are designed by creating  faultless remixes and hypnotic dance tracks which are pleasing to both die-hard fans and newcomers.

The idea behind his residency in Las Vegas is not only to promote his original material and albums, but to bring the “grand” club experiences of such places as Ibiza back to Sin City. Which he considers to be the party capital of the world.

By setting up shop as a resident DJ of Rain Nightclub in Palms Hotel & Casino, Paul Oakenfold has given trance music enthusiasts a place to call home. In what is going to be considered the highlight of many visitors’ vacations, Oakenfold delivers a truly unforgetable experience.   To give his fans a way to remember this experience, the world-renown DJ has released a double album, rightfully titled: Oakenfold Perfecto Vegas. It contains 21 exclusive tracks and remixes which were hand picked by the man himself.
